Art for Kids: Drawing in Color is at the printer!

Hooray! After a lot of hard work by an incredible team of people, my second drawing book for kids has shipped to the printer! I'm very excited about the book and hope that all of the people who enjoyed Art for Kids: Drawing will love this book, too. While my first book focused on drawing in pencil, and all of the tricks and techniques that help you make a beautiful black and white drawing, this new book is bursting at the seams with color. I explore a number of different color drawing media, from colored pencils to oil pastels to water colors. We explore the mysterious ways that colors affect us, how they relate to one another, and how to mix them to create countless hues. There are loads of projects and step-by-steps that will help you bring your drawings to life in vivid color. The activities range in difficulty level, so everyone can find a comfortable place to start. I'm eagerly awaiting the color proofs. Art for Kids: Drawing in Color will be available in stores in June 2009.
